The Bard is able to reach deep into his/her own soul and pay homage to the recently departed via his/her singing skills.

In return for this solemn tribute, the Bard is rewarded by a transfer of life force from the fallen to the Bard.

Commentary

Requiem is an excellent skill that allows the Bard to regenerate some HP, SP, EP and XP from the corpses of those that the Bard has killed. Although it will never regenerate quite so much as Fangs of Ashura, requiem isn't subject to the whims of Thieves and doesn't have the same undesirable effect on one's diet to which devouring a corpse might lead.
